Vidorec: Screen Recorder

Privacy Policy

Vidorec: Screen Recorder - July 2026

Vidorec records your screen entirely on your device. Every video you capture is saved only to your device's gallery (Movies/Vidorec) — Deepliy never receives, stores or can access your recordings. There is no account and no login. Screen capture only ever happens after you explicitly approve Android's system screen-capture dialog, and a system indicator is visible for the whole recording. Vidorec shows no ads and collects no advertising ID. To keep the app reliable we use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring for anonymous, aggregated usage, crash and performance diagnostics, and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing.

Locally Stored Data

  • Your screen recordings (MP4 videos in your device gallery, Movies/Vidorec)
  • Recording preferences: resolution, frame rate, bitrate, audio source, countdown
  • App settings: theme, language, floating bubble preference

Advertising

Vidorec contains no advertising and does not use an advertising ID (AD_ID). We use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring only to understand feature usage, diagnose crashes and keep recording performance smooth; this data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Subscription purchases (Vidorec Pro) are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Your recordings themselves are never uploaded anywhere — they exist only in your device gallery, under your control. Vidorec can also show on-device notifications (recording controls, a note when a video is saved, or when an app update is ready); these are generated on your device, contain no personal data and can be turned off anytime in your Android notification settings.

Internet Usage

  • Subscription processing (Google Play Billing)
  • Anonymous usage analytics, crash and performance diagnostics (Firebase)

Permissions

  • Microphone: only if you choose to record voice or mixed audio — never used otherwise
  • Notifications: recording controls (pause/stop), saved-recording alerts and update notices
  • Display over other apps (optional): the floating record bubble you can enable in Settings
  • Internet: subscription processing (Google Play Billing) and anonymous analytics / crash diagnostics
