Your documents stay on your device. Photos, scans, Word/Excel files, text and PDFs are converted locally and are never uploaded to any server. Papyvo shows no ads and needs no account. To keep the app stable and improve it, Papyvo uses Google Firebase for anonymous crash reports, performance measurements and usage analytics — this never includes your documents, file names or the addresses of web pages you convert, no advertising ID is used, and you can turn it off in Settings at any time.
Locally Stored Data
- PDFs you create (stored in the app's private folder until you delete them)
- App settings such as language, theme and conversion defaults
- Your photos, documents and files (processed on-device only, never uploaded)
Google Play Games (Optional)
- Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reports (file paths and web addresses are removed before sending)
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous feature-usage counters (no advertising ID)
- Firebase Performance — anonymous conversion-speed measurements
Advertising
Papyvo shows no advertisements and uses no advertising ID. All telemetry can be disabled in Settings → Privacy.
Internet Usage
- Loading a web page you chose to convert to PDF (the conversion itself happens on your device)

Permissions
- Internet — used only for the purposes listed above; your files are never uploaded
- Files and photos are accessed via the Android system picker, which grants access only to the items you choose
- No camera permission — camera scans use the system camera app
