By default, CRM Sales Tracker stores ALL data locally on your device. If you enable the optional Team Workspace, your team's records sync through an encrypted file in your team manager's own Google Drive — never through our servers, because we run none.
Locally Stored Data
- Customer information you enter
- Appointment schedules
- Sales records and reports
- App settings and preferences
- Exported backup files
Advertising
CRM Sales Tracker is completely ad-free. No advertisements, no tracking, no interruptions to your work.
Internet Usage
- Team Workspace (optional): syncing team records with the encrypted workspace file in your team manager's Google Drive
- Everything else works fully offline — solo use never requires internet
Permissions
- Storage: For data backup and export features only
- Google account authorization (optional, Team Workspace only): to create and access the team workspace file
Team Workspace & Google User Data
The Team Workspace feature is optional and turned off by default. It is the only part of CRM Sales Tracker that contacts Google; solo use never does. When you create or join a team, the app requests two OAuth scopes:
- drive.file — to create and manage the single workspace file the app creates in Google Drive.
- spreadsheets — to read and write the team workspace spreadsheet. A member who joins a team did not create that spreadsheet, so the narrower drive.file scope does not grant them access to it. The app uses this scope only against the team workspace spreadsheet.
What Google User Data the App Accesses
- The team workspace spreadsheet that the app creates in the team manager's Google Drive, and the records stored inside it.
- A recovery file the app creates in your own Google Drive, holding a pointer to your workspace so a reinstalled device can re-attach. It is never shared with anyone.
- Email addresses of team members. When a manager invites someone, the app sends that email address to Google Drive to grant access to the workspace file, and reads back the file's permission list (email address and role) to show the team roster and to revoke access.
- Your Google Drive storage usage and limit, read only to warn you before a sync fails for lack of space.
- An OAuth access token for your Google account.
- The app does not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar, photos, or any other file in your Google Drive.
How the App Uses Google User Data
- The workspace spreadsheet stores your team's shared CRM records. Customers, appointments and sales created by one member are written to it and read back by the other members' devices. This is how team sync works.
- Team member email addresses are used to grant access to the workspace file, to display the team roster inside the app, and to revoke access when a member is removed.
- The recovery file is used to restore your workspace after a reinstall or a device change.
- Drive storage usage is used only to show a low-space warning in the app.
- The access token is used only to authorize the API calls listed above.
- Google user data is never used for advertising, profiling, credit or lending decisions, or for any purpose other than providing the Team Workspace feature to you.
Who Google User Data Is Shared, Transferred, or Disclosed To
- Team members you invite. This is the purpose of the feature: a member who accepts an invitation gains access to the workspace file and the records in it, including the names and email addresses of the other members. The team manager controls who is invited and can revoke access at any time.
- Google, as the provider of Drive and Sheets, which stores the workspace file.
- No one else. We operate no servers and receive no copy of your data, your files, your Google account credentials, or your access token. Google user data is never sold, rented, or transferred to any third party, data broker, advertiser, or analytics provider.
How Google User Data Is Protected
- Record contents are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before being written to the workspace file. The encryption key never reaches Google or us; it travels only inside the invite code the manager shares with the member.
- Your Google access token is held on your device by Google Play Services and never leaves it.
- All communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS.
Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
- The workspace file stays in the team manager's Google Drive until the manager deletes it. Disbanding the team in the app revokes every member's access and deletes the app's recovery files.
- Removing a member revokes that member's access to the workspace file immediately.
- Leaving a team deletes the recovery file the app created in your Drive. You can also delete it yourself from Google Drive at any time.
- You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com under Security, Third-party access. Revoking access stops all future syncing.
- Records stored locally on your device are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
AI and Machine Learning
Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, and is not transferred to any third-party AI or machine learning service.
CRM Sales Tracker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
